The Adventure Center provides Facility developmental therapy in our structured group setting. We take pride in having our participants very involved in our goal planning process. Each year they meet with their developmental specialists to discuss their schedule and individual goals. Our developmental therapy techs taking running these individual goals very seriously. The progress on the goals is recorded as data after each group therapy session, and the marked improvement level on each goal is used for future planning. This process has increased independence for our participants in a socially appropriate setting, and it’s exciting to see the progress that is achieved.
