Family Education

Through Family Education, parents can learn about disability issues and treatment strategies for their child. Family Education is a teaching service available to help families better meet the needs of their child by providing education on their child’s needs that have been identified on the plan of service. This service is provided by trained professionals on issues as broad as an orientation on disabilities and as narrow as the use of adaptive seatbelts or intervention strategies. Family Education can also include helping the parent educate other unpaid caregivers regarding the needs of the child.
