Research shows that family training and involvement makes an amazing difference in the rate of progress in Intervention. Family Training is instruction provided on a ‘one-on-one’ basis to families by a trained professional on treatment strategies. This service allows a professional to meet with the family to help them with the intervention
techniques that are being used with their child. The child must be present when Family Training is provided so the trainer can demonstrate intervention techniques and strategies. Additionally, Family Training is required for all parents of children receiving Intervention.
